FAQ / How Submissions Work

Here’s the fast rundown on what happens when you send your tracks to Metal Messiah Radio, and how to give your band the best shot at getting heard.

How long does it take to get a response?
We review as many bands as we can, but we receive a huge volume of emails. If we’re interested or need more info, we’ll reach out. No reply doesn’t mean you suck — it just means we couldn’t fit it into rotation right now.
Do you guarantee airplay if we submit?
No. Submission is a shot at review, not a guaranteed spin. We check recording quality, performance, style fit, and programming needs before adding anything.
What makes a band stand out to MMR DJs?
Tight production, strong performances, and a clear sense of identity. Properly tagged MP3s, a short but sharp bio, and working links tell us you’re serious and easy to work with.
Can we submit again in the future?
Yes. when you are ready to drop a new release, or level up your band, send it in. Just don’t hammer us with the same track every week — that’s a fast way to get ignored.
What genres will you NOT consider?
We are a Metal station. If your music is primarily pop, EDM, rap, country, or anything outside the heavier spectrum, this isn’t the right battlefield. Crossovers with a strong metal backbone may still be considered.
Can we get interviews or special features?
Sometimes, yes. Use the Full Submission option and let us know in the email template that you’re interested in interviews. If the band fits one of our shows and the timing is right, a DJ may reach out.
