ALEXANDRA   Let me quickly introduce my guest today. Maw is a Mexican drummer from Queretaro and at his young age (25 yrs old) has been considered as one of the best drummers in Mexico by Sick Drummer Magazine. Hello Maw !

MAW    Hi Alexandra!! Thank you very much for this great Opportunity. For me it's an Honor to be here in the amazing Metal Messiah Radio! Greetings to the all audience and team!

ALEXANDRA  Maw, you started to play drums at a very young age (14 yrs old), what did your family think about it and which kind of kit did you learn to play on at first?

MAW    Sure thing! I still have my first kit complete with me, it is a Gregs Percussion kit, and I´m still using it to rehearse. I think I will have it with me all my life definitely, it´s a good memory.

ALEXANDRA Tell us a little about when you started to get more into the metal scene with your first band “Faster Elite”and do you have a good memory during that time you wanna share with us?

MAW    Yes! We were three young guys! We used to play stuff like Blink 182, Artic Monkeys, Nirvana, Green Day, and other bands. We composed a demo with 3 songs! One good memorie is our first show ever haha! It was like twelve years ago haha, I was very nervous before performing, fortunately everything worked well because being nervous helped me to being totally focused on it!

ALEXANDRA    In 2017 you were called and selected by Sick Drummer Magazine as one of the best Mexican drummers, can you tell us how you got called and your feeling about it?
